Taking a Healing Touch Level 1 class is a personal adventure into your heart and soul! It invites you to explore who you are, what you believe, and what you can actually do with your hands to facilitate a healing response in others.
A Healing Touch Level 1 class is for the person who wants to enhance wellness in themselves and the lives of people they care about by using the gift of energetic touch. Learning energetic healthcare through Healing Touch will enable you to offer comfort and relief when nothing else seems to help. You will possess a life-changing gift that you can give over and over again, once you have mastered simple, easy-to-learn steps and techniques that support health and facilitate the healing process.

Level 2 is for students who have completed Level 1 and wish to increase breadth and depth in the study of Healing Touch. (16-18 continuing education contact hours.)
The second level of study in Healing Touch includes an Intake Interview, back techniques, and a one-hour healing sequence. Emphasis in the experiential learning is on developing healing sequences for specific client needs.
Level 1 and Level 2 - 16 hour CEU classes are held from 9am to 6pm on a Saturday and Sunday. The two-day, 18 CE classes are from 9am to 7pm, and are available on both weekdays and weekend options. Some 18 CEU classes begin on a Friday evening and end on Sunday. The class coordinator will send an email with the times, location and directions to the class after you register. Mid week classes and/or 4 week 4 hours per week classes can be arranged to meet individual group needs.

The classes are 16 to 18 clock hours of instruction and offer 16 to 18 hours of Continuing Education contact hours.
Healing Touch Program is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s COA.
Healing Touch Program is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education provider under Category A. Provider Number 150588-00.
Your apprenticeship is an exciting, challenging, and rewarding twelve or so months. You can expect me as your mentor to be encouraging, understanding as well as honest in regard to the high standard required to meet HTP Certification. I want you to understand Healing Touch; the techniques, the philosophy and the concepts and exactly what will be needed for your successful shift from student to practitioner.
I am committed to Mentorship, it is a very real and active part of what I do as a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and Instructor. I offer my experience as a Qualified Mentor (QM) and Instructor in Training for the QM Tele-course offered through Healing Touch Program. I am up to date on the latest requirements for Level 5 and Certification.
I encourage you to focus on Level 5 requirements, and then begin the focus on the Certification process. In my opinion, they are built as complementary blocks. I will help you with the details of all your assignments. Your early and knowledgeable understanding of the criteria alleviates surprises and frustration.
The pattern that seems most successful is a planned monthly phone call of about an hour, and e-mails in-between to ask questions and share excitements or concerns. Requested materials are submitted a few days before our phone call, allowing me time to review the materials. We'll discuss adjustments and places for improvement when we talk live.
Investment:
$75.00 per month during active mentorship

So far, all of my mentee’s have been somewhat long distance, yet it has been possible to meet in person at least once for session observation and receiving a session. I make every effort to visit mentees in their home area, and welcome your visit to my home/office. If this will not be possible, having a local proctor can meet these requirements.

The Level 1 and 2 Notebooks are required curriculum and are included in the class tuition. Your instructor will provide your Notebooks, however, they are ordered at least 14 days prior to class start date.
A massage table (if you have one)

Layered clothing is recommended as temperature will vary throughout the day and everyone has different sensitivities.
Note: If you have particular dietary restrictions you may want to bring your own snacks, otherwise snacks and water are provided.
